Class IIIa Red Laser Modules from Z-Bolt®.

The APC-5 circuit features "Automatic Power Control". The APC laser diode drive circuit is based on a photodiode feedback loop. The photodiode monitors the optical output and provides a control signal for the laser diode, helping to maintain the diode operation at a constant optical output level. Provides a more stable level of power output stability based upon a solar cell. . . eg: maintains an output of > 3 mW output +/- 5% stability.
