Z-BOLT® Crane-Style Laser Ports
Z-BOLT® cable port tailcaps are compatible with Unity Tactical Crane-Style laser plug switches and a few other OEMs. Please Note: Many legacy Crane-Style (L3/Insight/EOTECH) switches can't pass the current needed to run modern, high current draw weapon lights. These older switch designs do not allow “full power” operation of Z-BOLT®, Modlite, or Surefire® LED or LEP light heads. Typically these switches reduce output by 15-20%. So beware, your results with these switches may vary. Our tested & approved list:

Z-BOLT® “Scout” Compatible Tailcaps
The Z-BOLT® Gen 2 DFCPT (Dual Function Cable Port Tailcap) dual switch tailcap is designed for Crane-Style laser plugs ONLY. Surefire® tape switches will not fit Z-Bolt® cable port tailcaps. The large target "clicky style" button offers "dual function" device actuation. Use light pressure for momentary-on; harder pressure "click" for constant-on activation. Rim "guard" around the button dome prevents accidental activation. Cable port section of tailcap rotates for easy insertion or removal from rail mounted devices.
